The Tramex Moisture Encounter ME5 is a professional pinless moisture meter designed for detecting moisture in wood, drywall and a wide range of building materials. The updated version of the trusted Moisture Encounter Plus, the ME5 delivers accurate, non-destructive moisture readings without damaging surfaces. As a wood moisture meter, it provides actual %MC readings, while also functioning as a damp meter for drywall, plaster, roofing, tile and masonry.

With dual-depth technology, the ME5 allows users to compare shallow and deep moisture levels to determine whether moisture is present at the surface or within the core of the material. This makes it ideal for testing coverings and eliminating substrate influence. Bluetooth connectivity enables readings to be visualised, geotagged and converted into moisture maps, reports and charts using the Tramex Meters App.
